I just noticed my rear door and tweeter speaker are crackling and just sound bad. I currently have a lc2i connected to the sub outputs in the truck powering my amp to my sub.

Hey guys I'm a little confused on how to wire up new door speakers with tweeters. Why not tap into the line output wires coming from the head-unit rather than taking the amplified signal? There are 6 line output wires coming from the head-unit to the OEM amp which I am assume they represent Front (L+R), Back (L+R) and Sub? Is my assumption correct? if it is, would anyone be able to tell me which 2 wires are the subwoofer line-ins so I can avoid them I was thinking about grabbing the speaker-level in signal from 2 of the wires bringing the signal to the OEM amplifier. I read numerous posts here about folks using the speaker out lines from the OEM amp to be used as a speaker-level in directly to the amp or using an extra processor in between them. specifically, I am thinking about using the Alpine KTP-445U (in bridged mode) to power the front speaker. Question 2) Given the low sensitivity of the front speakers, I was thinking about adding a secondary amp to drive the door speakers. Would the new tweeters completely over power the door panel speakers? If so, how can I reduce the tweeter output? I know the tweeters and front door speakers are powered by the same front L+R speaker out lines. Question 1) How do you think the combination of a 4 ohm, 2-way coaxial speaker in the door panels and tweeters in the dash will work? The speaker sensitivity is rated only at 87dB. I also ordered a pair of 30♟ capacitors to use as high pass crossovers for the new tweeters. I have ordered a pair of Focal 165AC Coaxial 2 Way Front Door Speakers as well as the Dayton Audio RS75-4 3" for the center channel and Tymphany XT25SC90-04 1" Dual Ring Radiator Tweeters for the dash. I have the standard 10 speaker ASS system without navigation in my 2013 S5. I would like to get your feedback regarding my planned speaker upgrades and hopefully get a few questions answered. I managed to probably glance through about 25 out of 29 pages.
